I remember once, my mom and dad came home from some event and my mom went to the kitchen sink to fill a pitcher with water and brought it to the outside step that leads to the front door, where a few flowers were growing. She gracefully poured water into the pots and I remember watching her and thinking how I hoped I would be as lovely as she is one day.
This woman is the most beautiful human being I know, in every sense of the word.
I still get a text every morning from her, telling me to have a happy day, that she loves me, and usually either to wear rainboots if it's raining, or to enjoy the sun if it's sunny (she gets me) (:
I often think about the placement of the people in my life and smile at the thought that God knew the individuals that we all would need. And I love that God specifically chose this person to be my mom. How special for me. She is the only person who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside. <<just got real sentimental there (:
